I am now in my second month at Potentia, and during this time, I have focussed on maximising my efficiency to align with the astonishing growth the business is currently experiencing. We are exceeding our best expectations, and in these weeks, I have immersed myself in the company culture, made my first sale, and, most notably, have assisted in the launch of our second office space in the North East of England.

As our business grows, finding the perfect office space becomes a critical milestone. This space needs to boost productivity, attract talent, and reflect Potentia’s culture. As we continue in our post-pandemic world, and as we ever so slightly sway back to flexi-office working, I have found that having a space I can regularly attend both in London and Leeds has unlocked the potential to meet a wider range of clients from across the nation, on a more frequent basis. This face time becomes invaluable when building new relationships and forming trusted partnerships with our clients.

On a personal note, being able to interact with different elements of our business, working with colleagues in our delivery team (based in Leeds) and having that face time with parts of the company I wouldn’t typically have as much exposure to creates a holistic picture of Potentia. I am able to pitch the team and our PM services more easily as I can highlight not only their capability but also their character.

Finally, Potentia’s flexibility in allowing me to work from Leeds one day, London another, and from my home office in Manchester captures the company’s understanding and necessity for work-life balance. The business recognises the benefits that both remote and in-office work can help create a flexible and dynamic work model that meets the needs of employees and organisations alike, ultimately promoting a focussed work environment that motivates and engages all employees.
